Jackson was swinging on the balcony. He was relaxing, watching cars pass by, and not making much noise. Then all of the sudden he yelled “ball” and pointed up at the sky. I said “that’s the moon”, he smiled, and watched it until we went inside. Later, while getting ready for bed, we went to the window and read Goodnight Moon. He kept pointing up at the moon and saying “boon”. He was so excited about the ball up in the sky. I think it’s going to become a nightly thing saying goodnight to the moon.

This guitar is one of Jackson’s Christmas gifts. He LOVES it! Especially when Yo Gabba Gabba’s “Band” episode on. He runs to get his guitar and plays along with them. It is adorable!

One of Jackson’s favorite things to do is color. He will yell “color” when he sees anything that reminds him of coloring. It’s funny, he mostly likes to make other people color. He gets picky about which crayons we color with and switches them on us. If we stop coloring, he points to the coloring book and demands “color”. Tim and I have lots of conversations as we color while being micromanaged by our son.

Hello! I’m back! I went through a couple weeks of not wanting to be on the computer. I knew I would have to work through a lot of photos, so I kept putting it off. I’m a month behind! I took photos of an amazing friend over the weekend and edited them the last few days. I had so much fun! It made me want to continue with the 365 I started. I’m pretty sure I took a photos everyday. We’ll see I guess.

My little boy did something new today. I have been saying “cheeeeeeese” with and huge smile every time I take a photo of him for months. This morning Jackson was being super cute, so I ran to get my camera. Again, I said “cheeeeeeeeeeese”. He turned and said “eeeeeessse” with this amazing smile! I have been trying everything to make him smile for photos since he starting walking. Jumping, making funny noises, acting super silly and not much was working anymore. Photos are so important to me. Photos of this dimply little monkey are extremely important to me. So, having him smile for photos is super exciting! I just hope he keeps this up!

I have been wearing the original Daisy by Marc Jacobs perfume for a couple years now. I think the name drew me to trying it in the first place.

My nickname in girl scouts was Daisy. I think I gave it to myself, maybe we were supposed to pick our own names. I had this blue shirt I wore all the time in third and fourth grade. There was a big white daisy on the front. I loved it so much and its probably how I came to love the flower. It has been my favorite since. A huge bunch of white daises in a glass vase, so pretty…

Daisy is this wonderful fresh, feminine, floral scent that quickly became my favorite perfume. Daisy Eau So Fresh came out last year and I had to try it immediately. I loved it! It is similar to Daisy, but more fruity and different enough to have both. I went shopping today and decided I had to bring it home with me. Isn’t the bottle so fun!?

Jackson loves to color. He loves crayons. It is adorable how happy he gets when he has a crayon in his hand. I picked up this little box to hold them, I think it is so cute.
