Tim went back to work after a week off. He enjoys coming home holding the boy right away.

He stares at us while we talk to him.

He loves being swaddled.

He falls asleep better and sleeps longer in a swaddle. He always gets his arms out though .

Jackson had his first real bath in the sink. He loves bath time. The water calms him down and he just relaxes. We do baths every other night before bedtime.

We spent short amounts of time in the bouncer…

And activity mat.

We cuddle a lot.

We did try a pacifier. I was afraid he would become too attached, but I was curious. This is probably the only picture we have with it in his mouth. He took it for a few minutes and then spit it out.

Tim’s brother and sister, Luke and Elana, graduated from high school. Jackson’s first real outing was to see them graduate. Nick, Ashley, and Hayden came out for a few days, too!

This is out adorable nephew, Hayden! He moved away when he was five months and we miss him being so close. Thank God for ichat! We get to see him grow on the computer and look forward to his holiday visits!

I get to stay at home with Jackson. I really appreciate each day. He is my world and I love being his Mom.

Jackson was smiling in his sleep and at random times, but the day he turned 1 month, he smiled directly at us. It happened for Tim while I was asleep. Tim was changing his diaper and Jackson smiled right at him. A little bit later Jackson did the same for me. I called Tim right away and he told me about the smile he got. Since then he smiles all the time. He is such a happy boy
